The Project includes improvements at the City of Wharton Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1, the Alabama Road Lift Station, and the Park Lane Lift Station. Work generally consists of rehabilitation, replacement, and installation of wastewater treatment process equipment, lift station upgrades, piping and valves, chemical systems, solids handling equipment, electrical and control systems, and associated site improvements, while maintaining continuous operation of existing facilities. The Work will require coordination with Owner operations and include temporary bypass pumping and phased construction. This project is funded in part by the Texas General Land Office (GLO) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable federal requirements. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal labor standards, including Davis-Bacon Act and applicable Section 3 requirements.
