City-Wide Sidewalk Utility Patch Restoration

NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland are soliciting bids for the project: CITY-WIDE SIDEWALK UTILITY PATCH RESTORATION CITY PROJECT NO. 2026-25-SHLD Completed bids shall be submitted to the City of Cumberland’s online solicitation website, until but not after 2:00 p.m. , local time, on 10/7/2026 . All Bids will be virtually released at 2:00 p.m. on that date and available to view on the website. Released bid information does not constitute any award has been made. Project description: This project consists of the repair and restoration of multiple sidewalk areas throughout the City of Cumberland that have been disturbed due to utility installations, repairs, or maintenance activities. Work will include the removal of damaged or temporary pavement patches and the installation of permanent concrete sidewalk patches to restore the sidewalk to City standards. A Proposal Guaranty (Bond or Certified Check) in the amount of at least 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000, at the time the contract is executed. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
