The Work at Bridge File 70717 carrying Range Road 55 over the Horseguard Creeek, involves the removal and disposal of the existing three span 8.5 – 8.5 – 8.5 m HC girder type bridge on a treated timber substructure and the installation of a 4920 mm SPCSP culvert with an invert length of 38.40 m. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor’s convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: - TSS testing - Demolition and disposal of the existing structure - Excavation – structural - SPCSP supply and assembly - Supply and installation of substrate and substrate holders - Supply and installation of Class 3 boulder clusters - Concrete end treatments - Backfill - Roadway work - Supply and installation of Class 3 heavy rock riprap - Supply and installation of rock ditch drains (Class 1M) - Supply and installation of erosion control soil covering (Type C) - Supply and installation of erosion control barrier (silt fence) - Supply and installation of erosion control barrier (straw rolls)
