Full Description

This contract provides short term helpdesk and operator/administrator training for the fielded versions of the Close Air Support System (CASS) software. This software was developed by Rockwell-Collins under Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division contract N00164-07-D-6686 which included help desk support and training of the fielded software. NSWC Crane is negotiating a follow-on contract for this effort, but has not completed negotiations. The N001664-07-D-6686 contract expired on 28 September 2012. AFLCMC/HBDC determined that a bridge contract with a basic effort of 30 days of help-desk support with two options to extend service a further 30 days (90 days total) was required to insure continuous support. The contract also includes an option for one operator/administrator on-site training session. This is a sole source contract award for unusual and compelling urgency. An approved justification and determination for other than full and open competition is attached to this notice.
