eI-Suite fire incident tracking system

I-Suite is the principle software application which supports core business functions for incident management. The I-Suite Application has been a Nationally Supported application since 2001. I-Suite is considered to be in the Operation and Maintenance Phase of the software lifecycle. One maintenance release is deployed annually along with minor patch releases on an as required basis. In 2006, the Incident Based Automation (IBA) Project Team was chartered to reengineer/technically refresh the I-Suite Application. The resulting application known as Enterprise I-Suite (eI-Suite) will serve the business community into the future. The eI-Suite application will provide similar functionality to the I-Suite Application but will incorporate new software technology. The first phase of eI-Suite development began in June 2010 with completion in June 2012. Phase two of development will result in the completion and deployment of eI-Suite. eI-Suite Application Overview At a high level, the reengineered application will incorporate: Browser-based technology Reengineered User Interface and Supporting Database Structure Updated business processes and enhancements including the ability to support business practices for a much broader range of incident types beyond those of wildland fire Ability to support incident level (Site) and field office (Enterprise) operations Integration with the National Enterprise Support System (NESS) Application Security Portal (NAP).
