AI Contract Overview

Allen Independent School District (Allen ISD) has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) contractor pool for upcoming bond projects scheduled for 2024. The RFQ invites qualified vendors to submit their responses, emphasizing the importance of timely and complete submissions, which must include both digital and physical copies delivered in sealed envelopes by the specified deadline of January 17, 2025. The district underscores that late or improperly delivered responses will be rejected, and responses received after office closures due to weather or other unforeseen events will be automatically extended to the next operational day. The selection process may involve additional information requests before final contractor approval, which will be contingent upon district review and board approval. The contract resulting from this RFQ is expected to commence upon board approval on February 24, 2025, and will remain in effect for five years or until all bond projects are completed, whichever occurs first. During this period, contact with district personnel outside the designated procurement channels is strictly prohibited to ensure fairness and transparency. The scope of work involves managing future bond projects within a contract size range of approximately 5 to 20 million dollars, with the district reserving the right to modify deadlines or procedures via addenda as needed. This procurement process is part of the district’s broader effort to efficiently manage and execute its upcoming capital improvements through a pre-qualified pool of construction management firms.
