This amendment pertains to solicitation BEP-RFP-16-0478 for a CNC Cylindrical Grinder to be performed in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of the document is to provide critical logistical clarifications regarding facility access and equipment transport for the Plating Room Division. It specifies that there are two roll-up doors available, noting that door number one is accessed from the parking level but has wall restrictions preventing crane access, while door number two is accessible via the alleyway between the BEP and the Holocaust Museum. Additionally, the amendment identifies freight elevator number ten as the correct transport route, located across from the Plating Room Division. Detailed safety and loading specifications are provided for this elevator, including a weight capacity of 15,000 pounds and specific dimensions for the door opening, floor metal bumpers, and the elevator interior to ensure the safe movement of machinery.
