Cochran Municipal Airport invites qualified, properly licensed and insured contractors to submit sealed bids for the removal of existing fiberglass ceiling insulation and installation of closed-cell spray polyurethane foam insulation at the Main Hangar located at 829 Highway 126, Cochran, Georgia 31014.
The work generally consists of approximately 8,000 square feet of hangar ceiling area, removal and disposal of existing fiberglass insulation, installation of a minimum 2-inch thickness of closed-cell spray foam over the ceiling, sealing of gaps at the tops of the wall metal sheeting and roof rafters, application of a durable white coating after the foam has cured, and complete cleanup and removal of project debris.
