Cold Springs Distribution Line Project (Project) Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-MEN-63991-R1C

The Cold Springs Distribution Line Project, identified by Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-MEN-63991-R1C, is an environmental infrastructure project located in the Elk Creek watershed in Mendocino County, California. Executed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, the project is carried out by Monica Morris of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire). The project is categorically exempt under Class 2, CCR Title 14, section 15302, as it replaces existing structures without causing significant adverse environmental impacts. The scope of work is limited to a single encroachment involving the removal of a four-foot wide concrete box and the installation of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe culvert with a minimum 36-inch diameter and 35-foot length, along with 12-inch diameter culvert pipes.
