Columbia State Historic Park Flock Cameras

The California Department of Parks and Recreation is implementing a project to enhance emergency response and prevention at Columbia State Historic Park in Tuolumne County by relocating one existing Flock Safety camera and installing a second one. The scope of work involves removing a camera and its pole at Fulton and Columbia Street, cutting the remaining pole at ground level, and mounting one camera on an existing pole on Jackson Street. Additionally, the project requires the installation of a new 12-foot metal pole equipped with a solar panel, which involves excavating a 3-foot by 3-foot by 4-foot deep hole and securing the post with cement. The final camera locations will be situated on the south side of Jackson Street, west of Main Street, and on the south side of Columbia Street, east of Parrots Ferry Road. This project is categorized as exempt under California Environmental Quality Act Classes 1, 3, and 4 due to the minor nature of the alterations and the limited scale of the new facilities.
