Full Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12.202, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number FA461026Q0049 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for Provide and install Commercial Internet Services for Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Dormitories at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB).
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide modems, routers, switches, software and services as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) at VSFB. Service should also include upgrading the hardware in the Titan (Bldg 13135) telecommunication room and disposal of old hardware.
The Contractor shall use existing infrastructure to the greatest extent possible. The broadband internet access provided shall exceed 100Mbps download and 20Mbps upload. The Contractor should install a landing page required to access the internet. The landing page will clearly describe the terms and conditions, and force user login prior to internet access being granted. The contractor will also set up content filtering for inappropriate material as determined by the SLD 30 Commander. Any DOD portable electronic devices must comply with Section 3.4 of DOD Instruction 8420.01. New cables and hardware will need to be installed in common areas (dayrooms, laundry room, ectara).
This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 517111, and the applicable PSC is DG11, the size standard of 1,500 employees.
The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating program does not apply to this acquisition.
This RFQ is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement. The Government reserves the right to award some or all of the line items represented herein. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse for costs associated with providing a quote.
