This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ or www.acquisition.gov. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and the small business size standard is $7.5 million. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 115310. Solicitation number 12034318Q0132 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Region One Intensive Common Stand Exam for the Flathead National Forest. The awarded purchase order will be a firm fixed price. One award will be made to the Quoter whose quote, as determined by the Contracting Officer is most advantageous to the Government, considering but not limited to factors such as: past performance, capability to accomplish this type of work, quality control, safety plan, familiarity with Region 1 Intensive Common Stand Exams, and price. The Experience Questionnaire will be used as part of this evaluation. Period of performance will include a base year (12 months) to begin at time of award plus 1 Option year. Option years are exercised at the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 17.207.
