Full Description

The pre-solicitation notice is in support of Communications Re-Cabling at the Clock Tower Annex Building, Corp of Engineers- Rock Island District, Rock Island, IL. The contractor is to Supply, Install, Test, Label, and Document a new data network for the basement, first floor and second floor of the Clock Tower building as well as the motor pool and hallway connecting the Clock Tower and Annex. The contractor shall perform all work necessary for new computer and phone network infrastructure and remove all existing unneeded network and telephone cables as specified in the solicitation scope of work. The solicitation will be a request for quote and issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code 811213 will apply with the size standard of $11 million. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government: price only. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov on or about May 10, 2017. The date and time for receipt of quotes is by May 25, 2017 at 2 PM CT. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps (FBO) website for amendments to the solicitation. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Services). All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. The solicitation will not be available in paper format. All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in hard copy or electronic submittal.
