Full Description
The Town of Palm Beach, Florida, is hereby requesting sealed bids for compacted garbage collection and disposal. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to provide compacted garbage collection service to the Town of Palm Beach. Any fees or fines resulting from violations due to the performance of the contractor will be the contractor's sole responsibility.

PRE-BID MEETING: A "NON-MANDATORY" Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on virtually via the Microsoft Teams meeting platform. Date/Time are specified in the "Events" section. Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification directly from Project Manager and Town staff.
AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal. The Town reserves the right to award on an all-or-none basis or on a line-by-line basis. Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid.
TERM: The contract will begin at the start of the Town's 2027 fiscal year, beginning October 1, 2026. The first year of the contract shall terminate in concurrence with the end of the Town’s 2027 fiscal year, ending on September 30, 2027. There shall be four (4) optional one-year renewal periods, based on satisfactory performance, budget authorization and mutual agreement, for a maximum contract duration of five (5) years.
RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION: Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Town of Palm Beach may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interest when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
