The Comprehensive Landing Gear Integrity Program (C-LGIP) contract, managed by the Department of Defense at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, involves a forthcoming solicitation release anticipated in January 2021 under solicitation number FA820321R0002. This initiative is focused on maintaining and improving landing gear systems, as outlined in several draft documents including Performance Work Statements, project submissions, and sample objectives. Only entities with an active DD 2345, verified through the Joint Certification Program (JCP), will have access to the technical data package (TDP) necessary for proposal preparation. Interested parties must request the TDP by emailing designated points of contact, providing organizational details such as CAGE code and NAICS size standard, with options to receive data via secure download or physical CD-R. Foreign participation in this acquisition is explicitly prohibited, emphasizing a focus on domestic capability. Communication regarding the contract is limited to email, directed to named points of contact to facilitate orderly information exchange. Previous updates have provided draft solicitation documents, responses to industry questions, and revised points of contact to assist interested parties in preparing their submissions. This presolicitation notice serves solely to inform and prepare potential offerors ahead of the formal request for proposals, with a clear structure set for data access, compliance verification, and stringent submission procedures to maintain program integrity and security.
