The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Detroit Dam project is seeking to procure and deliver 120 concrete ecology blocks to support and control erosion for a critical project access road. Each block measures approximately 30 by 30 by 60 inches and weighs around 4,320 pounds. The blocks must be stackable, preferably with an interlocking design, and include embedded lifting points such as eye hooks or U-bolts for ease of installation. This procurement aims to address significant safety hazards, including the risk of landslides, which could compromise infrastructure and hinder vehicle access. Delivery is required to a designated turnout off the Detroit Dam access road in Mill City, Oregon, with acceptance hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays. The contractor must include all freight and delivery costs in the proposed price, while USACE personnel will assist with offloading if necessary. The solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense’s W071 Endist Portland office, carries a response deadline of June 11, 2026, and references NAICS code 327331 for concrete product manufacturing. The primary point of contact for this procurement is Darrell Hutchens.
