The IVH in Marshalltown, Iowa, is a state-operated long-term health care facility established in 1887 as the Iowa Soldiers Home. Set on a 150-acre campus, IVH is among the nation’s five largest state veterans’ homes and the largest facility of its kind in Iowa. In recent years, IVH’s infrastructure has undergone multiple capital improvements, including remediation work for water infiltration in the Loftus and Malloy wings and roof replacements for Dack and Malloy.
