The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking to establish a National Individual Standing Offer (NISO) for Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) Testing, with an initial call-up period of five years starting October 1, 2026, and an option to extend for up to three additional one-year terms. The procurement is limited to Canadian suppliers and those from Applicable Trading Partners, aligning with the government’s reciprocal procurement policy. Offers must meet all mandatory technical criteria to be considered responsive, and the award will be granted to the compliant offer with the lowest evaluated price. Submissions are to be sent to the RCMP Standing Offer Authority via email, with documents available for download from the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS), which bidders are advised to monitor regularly for updates and amendments. The RCMP procurement process emphasizes supplier integrity, applying Public Services and Procurement Canada’s Ineligibility and Suspension Policy, and encourages Indigenous businesses to register in the federal Indigenous Business Directory to improve visibility and access to set-aside contracts. While documentation can be submitted in either of Canada’s official languages, the government retains the right to negotiate with any supplier and is not responsible for third-party website content or notifications. The principal contact for this contract is Adam Harrington, Senior Procurement Officer for the RCMP’s Procurement, Materiel and Asset Management branch, who can be reached via email or phone for inquiries.
