Market Research is being performed to determine the best method to advertise the Government's needs. Responses received will determine how the Forest Service will advertise it's needs. The Black Hills National Forest is in need of Ponderosa pine seed which will be used to restore and reforest National Forest lands. The purpose of this solicitation is to harvest mature seed cones on the Black Hills National Forest or adjacent property if previously approved. Approximately 700 bushels of pine cones are estimated to be collected with the option of additional bushels based on availability of cones and funds. One or more contracts may be awarded under this solicitation. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) and incidentals to perform all work necessary to select trees (if required) and to pick, bag, label, and deliver cones to the delivery point.
