AI Contract Overview
This contract involves the procurement of 11 units of a Connector Assembly, designated under NSN/Part Number 2040-01-616-8884, with a delivery timeline of 269 days after order (ADO). The solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense’s Fluid Handling Division under solicitation number SPE7M4-26-T-028Z, requires compliance with numerous technical and quality standards as outlined in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) master list. The procurement emphasizes adherence to cybersecurity requirements including CMMC Level 2 certifications, export control regulations under ITAR and EAR, and rigorous packaging and configuration management mandates. The item contains export-controlled technical data, restricting its distribution to approved contractors with specific certifications and training. The contract strictly prohibits the use of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals in any part of the manufacturing, design, or related processes unless authorized by the contracting officer, ensuring adherence to environmental standards. Full and open competition applies to the solicitation, with special consideration given to the removal of government identification on non-accepted supplies. The place of performance is New Cumberland, PA, and the DLA limits export-controlled technical data access to contractors who have met joint certification and training requirements. The point of contact for this solicitation is Rory O'Reilly, reachable via email and phone.
