This notice serves as a pre-solicitation. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 10 March 2017 for downloading at the Government's website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site visit/pre-proposal conference date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. This procurement consists of, but not limited to the following: � Construct a collapsed training structure to simulate a collapsed building. � The scope of the work will include all civil, structural, geo-technical and site work needed for a complete project. � The materials to build the structure will be provided as Government Furnished Property. � The structure is designed using shipping containers to simulate confined, but partially open sections with in the collapsed structure. The shipping containers will lean on and against each other, designed with structural reinforcement; this will be a permanent installation. � Project magnitude is between $100K and $250K. � This action is being solicited as a total small business set aside. � The Government contemplates a Firm-Fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. � Bid Bond of 20% of the bid price will be required. � Performance and Payment bonds will be required. � Estimated completion time is one (1) month after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The government contemplates a Firm-Fixed Price contract which will be solicited as a total small business set aside.
