Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Scope of Services for the North 3 Utilities Extension Project (UEP)

Performance timelines include a 24-month construction duration per contract followed by a six-month closeout period, with specific staffing requirements for a CEI Manager and Resident Project Representatives over 24 to 30 months. The contract mandates strict adherence to Florida statutes regarding scrutinized companies, Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, and Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements. Additionally, the consultant must implement protective techniques for threatened Burrowing Owls in accordance with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission guidelines and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage, including professional liability. Payment is contingent upon annual appropriation by the City Council.
