Full Description

This is a modification to an existing Presolicitation Notice posted on March 19, 2008. The Department of Labor has a requirement for Construction Management Services. This is a best value procurement. The best value will also be based on Small Business Cascading Evaluation Preference. (1) Offers are solicited from small and large business under a two-tiered solicitation. (2) Offers from all small business will be considered for award prior to any offers from large business. (3) If an acceptable offer is received from a small business, award will be made to a small business under the first tier. If an acceptable offer is not received from a small business, offers from large businesses will be considered for award. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base year and four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $31 million. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available for download on or about April 24, 2008. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held. More information will be provided in the RFP.
