Construction Manager at Risk Services for Sacramento International Airport Airfield Maintenance Facility Project

The Sacramento County Department of Airports is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to lead the development of a new approximately 20,000 square foot Airfield Maintenance Facility at the Sacramento International Airport. The project is estimated to have a construction budget of 18 million dollars, with a range between 17.5 million and 18.5 million dollars. The selected CMAR will be responsible for all labor, materials, and management across two phases: a preconstruction phase and a construction phase utilizing a progressive Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Key requirements include holding a Class B or higher California Contractors License, adhering to California prevailing wage laws, and providing performance and payment bonds. The CMAR must also maintain general liability insurance with limits of at least five million dollars per occurrence. The selection process is a two-step evaluation based on the best value.
