Construction Manager At Risk Services

The City of University Park (“City”) announces a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK (“CMAR”) SERVICES – CENTENNIAL PARK RENOVATION as specified in the attached pages until Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM CST. Late proposals will not be accepted. This will be a one (1) step process.
This is a one (1) time contract. Desired start of construction is Fall 2024 for Phase 1 and Summer/Fall 2025 for Phase II.
Each submission must be accompanied by a Bid Bond worth five percent (5%) of the estimated construction costs. The Successful Respondent will also be required to prove Payment, Performance, and Maintenance bonds within ten (10) days after Council approval of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (“GMP”).   The City will host an optional pre-bid meeting on July 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM CST via Zoom . Please refer to the bid packet for instructions on how to attend this meeting.
Questions will be answered until Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 4:00 PM CST . All questions must be submitted in writing via BidSync (www.bidsync.com ) or via e-mail to Elizabeth Anderson at contact@example.gov. Questions will not be answered over the phone.
Sealed proposals will be accepted electronically via BidSync (www.bidsync.com ) or in paper copy. Paper proposals must be delivered at the office of the Purchasing Department, City of University Park, 3800 University Blvd., University Park, TX 75205 and must be clearly marked:   “RFP # 2024-11 – CMAR SERVICES - CENTENNIAL PARK RENOVATION”   Paper proposals must include one (1) unbound original document in a sealed, opaque envelope bearing the Offeror's company name, address, RFP title, City of University Park RFP number, date, and time stated for the RFP deadline. E-mail or Facsimile (FAX) proposals will not be accepted.
