PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Construction of a New Administration Building and Maintenance Garage
This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE; it is not a solicitation announcement. This synopsis neither solicits proposals nor will a contract be awarded based on this notice. The purpose of this synopsis is to advise the public that the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) has a requirement for the construction of a new Administration Building and Maintenance Garage located at 76 Barnhart Island Road, Massena, NY 13662.


Scope of Work: This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete general site work and grading, paving, access roads, temporary and permanent fencing, foundation and floor slab construction, building erection, building interior and exterior finishes, plumbing systems, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical, communications and fire alarm systems, storm and sanitary sewer systems, connections of building utilities to existing tie-in points, and storm water control as required for regulatory compliance. The work also includes demolishing existing paving and large steel frame structures stored on-site, as well as fencing alterations.
