Solicitation # BPM059336
The Town of Port Deposit, in coordination with WILMAPCO, is seeking a multidisciplinary planning and engineering consultant to implement an integrated safety and mobility project for the Susquehanna River Road corridor. The scope of work focuses on establishing a context-sensitive safety strategy using the Safe System Approach, determining safe multi-modal access to the planned Hopkins Quarry Park, and evaluating the feasibility and preliminary design of a shared-use path between Granite Avenue and Octoraro Park. It is the intent of City of Fulshear (hereinafter known as “City”) to solicit proposals from reputable vendors for Competitive Sealed Proposals (“Proposals or RFP”) for selection of qualified Contractors (“Respondent”) to provide the Construction of Primrose Park Phase II to the City of Fulshear in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth herein. Addendum No. 1 10.11.2024: This addendum is issued by the City of Fulshear Purchasing Office. Please make the following clarifications and or corrections: Q&A from Pre-Proposal Meeting 10/8/2024 at 10:00 AM The following changes have been made to RFP 2024-067 Construction Primrose Park Phase II: Remove and replace the bid form (Exhibit B) in its entirety with the attached Addendum No. 1 Bid Form. Revised description for item 300 Confirmed quantity for item 301 is 21.5 acres Removed item 2800 Remove item 2900 Revised description for item 2801 Revised description for item 2901 Remove and replace the following Plan Sheets in their entirety: Sheet G0.06 Tree Protection Plan Sheet C2.00 Demolition Plan Sheet C3.00 Overall Grading Plan Sheet L1.00 Amenity and Reference Schedule Sheet L2.05 Details Addendum No. 2 10/18/2024 This addendum is issued by the City of Fulshear Purchasing Office. Please make the following clarifications and or corrections: Questions and answers: Q: Alternate 3 has tree protection but no quantity. Is there no tree protection at this area? A: Tree protection quantity of 380 LF has been added to Bid item 2007. Q: The foundation limits are not clear for the tennis/pickleball court. Does the pickleball court slab(s) extend beyond the extent of the tennis court slab? Please provide more clarity regarding slab edges. A: Tennis court/pickleball court foundation limits extend to edge of court shown on plans. Tennis court slab is to be a post tension slab with a thickened exterior edge. Contractor is responsible for providing shop drawings for Landscape and Structural approval prior to construction. See detail 1 and 5 on revised sheet L2.13. Q: There's no note on the detail sheets if there needs to be windscreen for the dugouts. *L2.01/Dtl.4 has a note #5 regarding the vinyl coat gauges which I believe might be in error. The written spec. calls for 9ga. wire, and asks for class 2A Extruded with a 6ga. finish. However, this note #5 says, "prior to vinyl coating," and is calling for 6ga., which if that is the core wire, means the finish would be a 3ga. finish. *More specs. needed for Backstop, in order to quote apples to apples. No post sizes are given, and according to the detail #3 on Sht. L2.02, the side wings only extend for 10ft. before the fence goes back to 8ft. tall, so no notes indicate if the adjacent 8ft. fencing should be dugout, bullpen, or even outfield style. A: No windscreen is specified for the dugouts. Callouts for fencing are remaining as is – backstop, bullpen, and fence at dugouts should all be a 6ga. core, final finish to be 5ga. Outfield fencing should be 9ga. core with a final finish of 8ga. See note #5 on details 1-4 on revised sheet L2.01, detail 2 on revised sheet L2.02, and detail 1 on revised sheet L2.03. Details have been updated to show a 25’ H continuous backstop, that extends 34’ in either direction towards dugouts. After the 34’ of backstop fencing, 8’ fencing continues to the dugout. Details have also been updated to further clarify posts, fencing materials and colors, field layout enlargements, and dugout openings. See details 2 and 3 on revised L2.02 and on revised sheets L1.01-L1.04. Clarifications: Restroom and Concession building: The restroom and concession building will be purchased by the City, directly from the prefabricated manufacturer. The contractor is not responsible for the cost of the building. The contractor shall provide a cost for bid items 1800-1805. Please note: Bid item 1800 is for the select fill required for the building pad. Limits of the pad are identified on sheet C3.08, Detail “C”. Bid item 1802 is for the electrical connection of the building to the electrical service lines extended as part of the base bid and bid item 1805. Bid item 1803 is for the contractor to coordinate with the manufacturer on the delivery, placement and installation of the building. As noted in the bid form, the Contractor will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturer has access to the site, providing any required matting and making the final wet utility connections. Bid item 1804 is for the contractor to install the manufacturers underground plumbing kit. The kit will be provided by the building manufacturer. See attached “CorWorth Client’s Scope of Work Pad Prep and Utilities” document for additional information. 2” Backflow for domestic service: If either Add Alternate 1 OR Add Alternate 2 are added to the project, we will need a 2” backflow. If Add Alternate 1 AND 2 are both added to the project only one (1) 2” backflow is required. 2” water meters: The City supply and install the domestic and irrigation meters. The following changes have been made to RFP 2024-067 Construction Primrose Park Phase II: Remove and replace bid form in its entirety with attached Addendum No. 1 Bid Form.
