DeLong Pier Repair
Solicitation # W912DS26BA035
The US Army Corps of Engineers New York District intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for comprehensive repairs to the DeLong Pier at Pitauffik Space Base, Greenland. This competitive Invitation for Bid is restricted exclusively to Danish and Greenlandic firms, with an estimated project value between 1 million and 5 million dollars. Exterior work is strictly limited by seasonal constraints, typically occurring between June and September, with potential extensions into May or October. Contractors must account for the lack of local labor and materials, as well as the presence of permafrost extending up to 1,600 feet deep.
