Construction Professional for Facility Renovations & Modifications for Worth County Middle School

The Worth County School District is seeking proposals from qualified construction firms to provide Construction Management at Risk services for facility renovations and modifications at Worth County Middle School. With a total project budget of $7,000,000, the scope of work covers a 139,754 square foot area and includes interior architectural finishes, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical upgrades, as well as exterior improvements such as roofing replacement, site grading, and paving. The project will utilize an AIA A133-2019 contract based on a Guaranteed Maximum Price. Due to the nature of the facility, all construction must be performed during nights, weekends, school holidays, and summer break between April and August 2027, with all punch list work completed by December 1, 2027. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on October 8, 2026, and must be submitted as eight hard copies and one electronic PDF on a thumb drive to Altman and Barrett Architects. The selection process is based on a weighted evaluation of the firm's overview, management team, relevant experience, and contractor fees, among other factors. Awarded firms must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and certify compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and Georgia state laws. The contractor is responsible for all permits, inspections, and a one-year warranty inspection following project completion.
