A sustainable land use program was recently established at the DAC with the goal of incorporating sustainable and ecological practices into managing these lands.Healthy sustainably productive forests contribute to the health, safety and viability of DAC facilities. Prescribed burns and invasive plant control minimize the impact of uncontrolled/unmanageable fires on DAC structures and nearby communities.
