SUNY Empire State University is seeking qualified consultants to assist with the comprehensive implementation of the Slate admissions management system, aiming for a go-live date of March 5, 2025. The project involves configuring Slate to support the entire admissions process, including capturing inquiries, managing applications from submission through review and decision, and facilitating communication with prospects via email and SMS. The scope also includes integrating Slate with the university’s existing Student Information System (Ellucian Banner) and importing historical data from the current CRM, Ellucian Recruit. The consulting services are expected to span 12 months, beginning around July 2024, and will involve training the university staff to independently support, troubleshoot, and maintain the system post-implementation. Eligible vendors must be experienced Technolutions Slate consultants with at least five years of successful higher education implementations. The contract, valued up to $125,000, is open to all New York State counties, with a due date for proposals set for June 26, 2024. The procurement process emphasizes restricted communication, requiring interested parties to contact designated SUNY representatives via email. The project aims to enhance SUNY Empire’s admissions capabilities for both undergraduate and graduate programs, handling an estimated 7,500 to 15,000 applications annually, and ensuring seamless integration and communication workflows aligned with institutional goals.
