This contract concerns the procurement of an electrical contact, specifically part number M39029/76-424, under solicitation SPE7M1-26-U-1798 issued by the Department of Defense’s Maritime Supply Chain. It calls for the delivery of 816 units within 13 days FOB origin, with inspection and acceptance points at destination. The contract incorporates rigorous technical and quality requirements outlined by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), including adherence to the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements effective on the solicitation or award date. Sampling and quality inspections are to follow MIL-STD-1916 or comparable zero-based sampling plans, with specified acceptable quality levels for various attribute classifications. Overall, the contract ensures strict compliance with military performance and environmental standards, detailed packaging requirements, and tight delivery schedules to support DLA’s procurement needs.
