Contingency contract for Portable , Volume Ventilator

THIS AMENDMENT IS ISSUED TO CORRECT THE SOLICITATION NUMBER FROM SPM2D1-17-R-0001 TO SPE2D1-17-R0002. THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL DETAILS ARE PROVIDED: THE VENTILATOR SOLICITATION PACKAGE WAS PUBLISHED ON DIBBS/PACE UNDER SPE2D1-17-R-0002. ISSUE DATE - 12 JULY 2017 CLOSING DATE- 14 AUGUST 2017 This is a project for a contingency contract wherein the Defense Logistics Agency seeks to buy ACCESS to an aeromedially certified Portable Volume Ventilator as described below. This is only a presolictation notice. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or around June 26, 2017. The RFP will remain open for 30 days. Estimated closing date assuming issuance on June 26, 2017 is July 26, 2017. The RFP will contain a complete set of Essential Characterisitics (ECs) and a technical checklist. Offeors will be required to complete the techncal checklist stating compliance or non compliance with each EC. In order to be considered for award, an offeror must prove compliance with each EC. The RFP will also contain a description of our Contingency Contracting Program via the Statement of Work. Item Description - Portable Volume Ventilator 11-30 VDC, 115/230 VAC, 50/60/400 Hz: For air and ground movement of patients. Shall be capable of sustaining the ventilation requirements of ill or injured patients during extended transport. Ventilator is a self-contained system capable of supplying 21% to 100% oxygen when provided a 50 psi oxygen source. Aeromedicalcertified.
