The contract pertains to the procurement of wire rope assemblies, specifically single-leg wire rope assemblies, with a total quantity of 31 units. The contract integrates detailed technical and quality requirements as referenced in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, ensuring compliance with the most current standards at the time of solicitation or award. Inspection and acceptance will be conducted at the origin, and specific packaging requirements outlined by the DLA must be followed. Any non-accepted supplies must have government identification removed, and physical identification or bare item marking requirements apply. Unique item identification is waived per the service customer's request. Additionally, the contract involves strict export control provisions due to the sensitivity of the technical data associated with the wire rope assemblies. Export of the technical data is regulated under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), requiring prior authorization from relevant government departments. Access to this data is restricted to approved contractors who have completed necessary training and certification processes under DLA's control to prevent unauthorized disclosure. Delivery is expected within 265 days to a location in Anniston, Alabama, with the Department of Defense’s ASC Supplier OEM Division acting as the contracting agency.
