The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center intends to award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for the procurement of four units of the Control, Servo, Automatic Pilot assembly. This procurement is based on the determination that the item is only available from this single source, and the requirement is unrestricted with no small business set-aside applied. The contract stipulates delivery of the items within 200 days after order receipt, with an emphasis on encouraging early shipments at no additional cost to the government. Inspection and acceptance will be conducted at the point of origin by the Defense Contract Management Agency. The contract details specify the part number, national stock number, and manufacturer cage code, with a requested delivery date of November 1, 2026. Several amendments have extended the response deadline for submissions, the latest extending the notice's closing date to May 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT. Although this is not a competitive solicitation, responsible sources may submit quotations for the government’s consideration. However, the decision not to seek competition rests solely with the government. It is also noted that certain representations and certifications typically used in contract award decisions will not be considered or enforced for this requirement, and that entities are not required to update SAM registrations to remove these representations. Correspondence regarding the notice is directed to specified points of contact within the Coast Guard.
