AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE4A5-27-T-1332 is a fixed-price procurement issued by the Defense Logistics Agency for 13 units of an indicating temperature control device, identified by NSN 6685011104478. The contract requires delivery within 125 days, with shipping terms set as FOB Origin and the final destination for both inspection and acceptance located at DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California. The procurement is categorized under NAICS code 334519 and incorporates specific technical and quality requirements via the DLA Master List. Compliance is mandated across several rigorous standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for marking, and RP001 for palletization. A critical safety restriction prohibits the intentional use of mercury or mercury-containing compounds in the hardware or packaging. Quality assurance will be managed through sampling methods aligned with MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with a zero-nonconformance requirement for acceptance. Administrative requirements include electronic invoicing through the Wide Area Workflow system and adherence to various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding sustainable products, domestic origin preferences, and cybersecurity assessments.
