GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK   The major work will consist of the (approximate) following:
Installation of a new mechanical bar screen, washer an compactor, channel structure, and associated yard piping improvements.
Existing Cooper Creek Lift Station wetwell grouting, lining and piping improvements.
Existing Cooper Creek Lift Station discharge piping replacement, structural improvements and the installation of a manual bridge crane and electric hoist system Installation of one (1) submersible pump (to be furnished by City) Electrical, instrumentation and controls improvements including installation of two (2) variable frequency drives, new electrical panel, and new programmable logic controller Installation of a vault with force main isolation valve, and bypass piping and valves 
   

PROJECT BUDGET
The current budget for the project is approximately $9.5 million dollars ($9,500,000) including without limitation, construction services, design services, soft costs, and right of ways required to deliver the projects per the Contract Documents.
 
In accordance with the provisions of Texas State Law, the City of Denton (the City) is requesting submissions to contract with an individual or business with considerable experience in providing goods or services of this solicitation. The responses and the cost solutions shall be submitted to the City of Denton in a sealed submission.
The awarded individual or business shall possess a proven track record of using innovative approaches to providing goods and services that represent the best value to their clients. The awarded individual or business shall have the ability to accomplish all aspects of the requested services. The selected individual or firm should be able to provide innovative methods to deal with municipal challenges, and cost effective solutions. 
A firm may submit a solicitation response for one or more of the categories of product or services requested in this solicitation.
