Manual fuel reduction will take place in the Cooper Creek project area, adjacent to Cooper Landing and Sterling Highway. The work consists of tree felling, piling, and covering of felled trees, slash and down trees. The project area is located on Chugach National Forest, Seward Ranger District in Alaska. The Cooper Creek project is adjacent to Cooper Landing and Sterling Highway, location description is T. 4 N., R. 3 W, Section 7, 8, 18. The performance period is from award date to October 31, 2010.
