No quotes are being requested or accepted with this announcement. This is not a solicitation for quotes and no contract shall be awarded from this announcement. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8a, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The Shoshone National Forest anticipates soliciting for and awarding a contract for a base year and three option years for rental of two (2) high-production/high-volume network publisher/copier with the ability to print black & white and in color, with possibility of a trade-in of current machines. This copier package will replace the existing production equipment. Current equipment is one (1) Cannon iRC5045 located at the Wapiti Ranger District Office, 203A Yellowstone Ave. Cody WY 82414 and one (1) Cannon iRC5035 located at the Shoshone National Forest Supervisor's office, 808 Meadow Lane Ave. Cody WY 82414. Contractor is to remove existing Cannon iRC5045 and Cannon iRC5035 from the facilities and dispose of. Pricing to include training of a minimum of three operators. Pricing and specifications for maintenance for the new equipment shall be included with submission of this solicitation. Environmentally Preferred Products (EPP) Procurement Requirements Federal Contractors are required by the US DOE to purchase Environmentally Preferable Products (also known as green or sustainable purchasing), and are also required to flow those procurement requirements to their subcontractors. When supplying materials to be used on-site as part of a subcontract scope-of-work, those materials must meet these same requirements.
