Corley ES - Interior Renovations

The Gwinnett County Board of Education is soliciting sealed lump sum proposals for interior renovations of Building 2010 at Corley Elementary School, located at 1331 Pleasant Hill Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia. This solicitation, identified as CGLS-26005, is open to general contractors who are licensed in the State of Georgia and have been previously approved through the owner's pre-qualification process. Proposals must be submitted by 3:00 PM local time on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, to the Building C Conference Room at 53 Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia, addressed to Mr. John Gramigna, Director of Facility Planning. Electronic submissions via email or fax are strictly prohibited. To be eligible, bidders must have attended the mandatory pre-bid conference on November 3, 2026, and must provide a completed AIA Document A305 Contractors Qualification Statement to the architect, Chapman, Griffin, Lanier Sussenbach Architects, Inc. Bids must include a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the bid price, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds totaling 100 percent of the contract price. Surety companies must be licensed in Georgia, listed in Department of Treasury Circular 570, and maintain a minimum A.M. Best Company rating of A with a financial size of VI 6 or better. The Board of Education reserves the right to award the project based on the best interests of the owner.
