Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to AVANOS Medical for the procurement of the CORTRAK 2 Enteral Access System. This acquisition includes the primary system, an extended warranty, an accessory kit, a printer, a stand, a single bag charger, and five days of clinical education. The government has identified AVANOS Medical as the only authorized source capable of providing this proprietary equipment and the associated training, ensuring that all components are original equipment manufacturer parts to maintain device liability and warranty. The requirement falls under NAICS code 339112 and is being processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). While this is a notice of intent to sole source rather than a request for competitive quotes, interested parties may submit a capability statement of no more than six pages to demonstrate their ability to deliver the equipment and provide valid certification from AVANOS Medical. All responses must be submitted via email to the designated contract specialist by the specified deadline for the government to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
