Solicitation # PUR-RFB2026.10.10080
The City of San Jose is soliciting bids under solicitation number PUR-RFB2026.10.10080 for the supply of streetlight poles, including ornamental poles and specific models such as Holophane North Yorkshire and Hapco York 20. The procurement is governed by City Standard Specifications and drawing E-15, with a strong encouragement for vendors to provide environmentally preferable products meeting standards such as Energy Star, Green Seal, EcoLogo, or EPEAT. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced responsive and responsible bidder, with price serving as the primary determinative factor. To be considered responsive, bidders must complete all line items and submit their responses electronically via Biddingo by November 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM PT. The resulting agreement will be a purchase order for an initial one-year term with fixed pricing, and the City reserves the option to exercise up to six additional one-year extensions for a total potential term of seven years. Delivery is required as FOB Destination Prepaid, meaning freight and shipping costs are included at no additional charge to the City. Award is contingent upon the vendor's acceptance of the City's Standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions and the provision of a certificate of insurance. Additionally, the City offers price preferences for Local Business Enterprises (2.5%) and Small Business Enterprises (an additional 2.5% for firms with 35 or fewer employees).

To all interested Parties: The purpose of this modification is to notify interested Parties of the Government response to Vendor 4th set of questions. In the interest of time and the closing of this RFQ response period, Please be informed that this is the last question to be fielded. NO More Questions will be accepted. Below is the last and final question fielded from vendors. There is only one (1) question for this event and one (1) answered. 4th Set of Questions from vendor(s) Does CBP want the cell monitoring to tie into some existing monitoring system? Our standard cell modem monitoring system operates on the Verizon system and goes into the monitoring station. Users can log into the system to see status of any monitored item. The system can be programmed to provide alert several individuals or a specific email or text address should an alarm come in. There is a yearly fee for the monitoring service. Is the system described above acceptable on this project? 4th Set of Answers from Government to vendor(s) CBP currently uses Flash Technology for our lighting monitoring services. We do not anticipate a change to that at this time.
