The City of Council Bluffs Parks & Recreation Department is requesting bids for all work set forth in the plans, specifications, and proposals for this project. This is an all or nothing bid and will be awarded to one bidder. The bid will be awarded based on the Lump Sum Base Bid. Due to budget constraints, Alternate #1 may or may not be accepted. The status of this will be communicated to the awarded Bidder.
Major items of work for this project include the following approximate quantities:
188 TN HMA Base Course, 4 Inches; 652 TN HMA Overlay, 2 Inches; 1,757 SY Pavement Removal; 1,278 SY Subgrade Preparation; 250 SY Trail, Paved, PCC; 196 SY Driveway, Paved, PCC; 277 LF 24-inch Curb and Gutter, PCC, 7 Inches.
All work is to be completed on or before August 31, 2024. The Valley View Parking Lot shall be completed before May 31, 2024. The City of Council Bluffs will accept electronic bid submittals in Ion Wave until the date and time listed for this solicitation. Hard copy bid submittals are not acceptable and will not be considered. Any bid submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected.
