AETC's mission is to recruit, train and educate exceptional Airmen. This mission is supported through four principal objectives: Advancing Force Development, Enhancing Lethality and Readiness, Transforming the way Airmen Learn and Cultivating an Environment of Excellence. These priorities must be met aggressively and cost effectively to modernize the education and training provided to all AETC mission partners. To accomplish these learning requirements, AETC must engage with commercial education and training providers to leverage advanced training methods and delivery mechanisms. Programs in support of the AETC Recruit, Train and Educate (RTE) learning mission must be rapidly responsive, mission-focused and provide solutions that leverage buying power across all RTE operations. Many of the requirements for AETC are Learning and Distance Learning-centric, contain synchronous and asynchronous training delivery, and are utilized across the Department of Defense (DoD) as well as other federal agencies.
