NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed Bids shall be received from qualified Bidders on Penn BID for the COVID-19 ARPA H20PA and COVID-19 ARPA PASWS Market Street Stormwater Drainage Improvements Project and all appurtenant Work, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents.
DATE OF OPENING BIDS: Bids will be received by Mifflin Township online via the PennBid Program until 11:00 A.M. local time on April 13, 2026. Bids will be reviewed at the Mifflin Township Supervisors Meeting at 6:00 P.M. the same evening. Thereafter, Bid results will be available online at http://PennBid.Bonfirehub.com
LOCATION OF THE WORK: The work will be along the easterly right-of-way of Market Street between Center Drive and East Kline Road, then crossing Market Street to westerly right of way and then along the westerly right of way to house #1122. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining and paying for any required permits.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The Work related to the COVID-19 ARPA H20PA and COVID-19 ARPA PASWS Market Street Stormwater Drainage Improvements Project comprises of the placement of stormwater piping along the route of travel underneath driveways, construction of swales, saw cutting and milling of existing driveways to blend into new pave, installation of inlets, pavement restoration, lawn restoration, connection to existing inlet, driveway restoration, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job and in accordance with the PennDOT Pub 408 and RC Standards recommendations and these Contract Documents.
There shall be no pre-bid walk through.
