CP00004 Street Work at Tuolumne

The City of Fresno Department of Capital Projects, Transportation Project Management Division, is initiating project CP00004 for street work at Tuolumne and Van Ness in Fresno, California. The scope of work involves the reconstruction of sidewalks and the installation of new curbs and gutters along Tuolumne Street between Broadway Street and Van Ness Avenue, including the Congo and Federal Alley approaches. Additional infrastructure improvements include the installation of new streetlights, street trees, and drainage inlets, as well as the removal of existing drainage inlets. The project further requires the demolition of a portion of the old Tuolumne Diverter Road and a street dedication for the extension of Federal Alley. Upon completion of the street work, the existing street easement for the old Tuolumne Diverter Road on City-owned property will be vacated. This project is categorized as exempt under CEQA Guidelines Sections 15301(c) and 15302(c) as it involves minor alterations without expansion of use.
