Lincoln Electric System is soliciting bids for crane and rigging services to support four power generation sites, electrical distribution structures, transformers, and office buildings in and around Lincoln, Nebraska. The contract seeks fixed pricing for equipment, operators, on-site trucking, and load testing of fixtures on an as-needed basis. The agreement consists of a three-year base period with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. Award will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal best complies with the contract documents, with evaluation based on financial responsibility, similar experience, and present commitments. Successful bidders must submit all proposals electronically via the LES Online Procurement System by February 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM CST. Requirements for award include the execution of the LES Services Contract, a completed Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form, and proof of insurance from a Nebraska-licensed company rated at least B+ by A.M. Best. Required insurance coverages include Commercial General Liability of 1 million dollars per occurrence, Automobile Liability of 1 million dollars, and Umbrella Liability of 2 million dollars, with LES named as an additional insured and a waiver of subrogation. Additionally, the contractor must provide performance and payment bonds equal to the full contract price and adhere to a strict no-escalation clause regarding pricing.
