Full Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if interested, Government shall consider all responses. Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Wildcat Wholesale, LLC, Avon, OH, 44011-1534. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U. S. C. 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(b). NHRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. or additional information and to register to SAM, please access the following website: https://www.sam.gov/. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number. NAMRU-6 conducts biomedical research in the field of infectious diseases and global health that is responsive to U.S. Navy requirements and delivers life saving products including knowledge, technology, and medical materiel that sustain the effectiveness of the uniformed service members through respectful cooperation with our collaborators. NAMRU-6 has a requirement to re-stock cryboxes (SKU Box-2 slots cryo box 2" white freezer w/drain slots). The current study utilizes said product and any change could affect the outcome and the integrity of the research data result thus, causing a significant increase in government costs, loss of time invested by NAMRU-6 scientists. Utilizing any other product or vendor would be determinate to the study and jeopardize the research.
