Custodial Services

The City of St. Cloud, Florida, has issued Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2026-142 for custodial services across various city facilities, including the Streets Department, Ted Broda Memorial Park, The Ranch, Veterans Park, and Water Tower Park. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform these services. The contract is set for an initial three-year term with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions upon mutual agreement. Bids must be submitted electronically via the OpenGov portal by November 19, 2026, and must include firm pricing for the specified locations, as well as options for event support and day porter services. Award decisions will be based on the bidder's responsibility, qualifications, financial ability, and past performance. The contractor must adhere to professional standards of care and comply with various federal and state regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act for construction contracts over 2,000 dollars, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and drug-free workplace certifications. A bid bond is required, and the contractor must maintain insurance coverage as specified by the city. Payments will be processed via electronic funds transfer or P-card in accordance with the Florida Prompt Payment Act. The city reserves the right to award the contract by individual item, group, or in its entirety.
