Custom Engineered Tubular Steel Transmission Structures

Nashville Electric Service has issued solicitation Z5227 for the procurement of three custom engineered tubular steel transmission structures. The requirement consists of one structure for each of the following drawings: PSK-1999, PSK-2001, and PSK-2002. All deliverables must adhere to NES Specification 32-5170 and the specified drawings. Only products from approved manufacturers, including TAPP, Sabre Co, Trinity, Valmont, Rohn, Dis-Tran, and Ft Worth, will be accepted, and alternate brands are strictly prohibited. Bidders must provide a separate price per pound for extending anchor bolt cages to the full length of the foundation. The award will be based on the total installed cost and the delivery schedule, with bidders required to state their earliest delivery in calendar days. All bids must be submitted via the Vendor Web Portal by October 7, 2026, and quoted prices must remain valid through November 4, 2026. Delivery is to be made to Nashville, Tennessee, using an open bed truck, with a mandatory 48-hour prior notification to NES. Deliveries are only accepted Tuesday through Friday, as Monday deliveries are prohibited. Any requests for price escalation must be supported by official verifiable documentation.
